Teleporter (Yard Duties Only)

This Teleporter training course is delivered through a combination of practical training and theoretical knowledge for topics including:

• The design, components, and functions of teleporters and understanding their applications in yard-based tasks.

• Daily inspections and routine maintenance for safe teleporter operations.
• Hydraulic systems and proper operating practices.
• The impact of load, size, weight, gradients, and ground conditions on the stability of the teleporter during material handling.
• Techniques for loading, storing, and transporting materials efficiently within yard environments.

Course requirements

To participate in the training, participants must:

• Ideally be 18+ years of age
• Be medically fit to operate machinery
• Have their own PPE gear (boots, high vis vest)
• Have a good understanding of English

On successful completion of the training program, participants will receive an JMH certificate and a card valid for three years.
